What To Expect When You Are Expecting

Hey guys,

There has been some radio silence on my part recently. I am alive and kicking, just struggling to find the motivation to do anything productive. I’ve been thinking about my blog a lot but can’t find the energy to start writing something. It’s a bit of a slump. I’ve even just been rereading the same books rather than delve into anything new. (As much as I love ACOTAR, I really need to find something else to read!)

It isn’t all miserable, far from it really. There are some exciting times ahead for my fiance and me- our dynamic duo is going to become a trio in May 2019. We are expecting our first baby (a lovely little girl) and we are so in love with a person we have yet to meet. A lot of exciting changes are coming about. Day 20 – Would You Consider Yourself an Optimist or Realist?

I think everyone is a little bit of an optimist in life, regardless of how they think. We all want to see the positive outcomes in things, no matter how big or small. And sometimes we are a little bit pessimistic. Continue reading “30 Day Writing Challenge – Day 20”

Day 18 – Describe Your First Love and First Kiss (Of Significance)

This could be… interesting. Good prompt and we could probably say a lot on the matter.

I’ve definitely taught myself not to look back in anger. It is my past and we live on regardless of it.

Those who face hard times often learn to find beauty and power in something that can be associated with something outside of the hardship, some learn to find beauty in the hardship. We use the experience that we have, regardless of whether it is good or bad, to create.

Day 14 – What Tattoos You Have & If They Have Meaning

I think tattoos and piercings are a great way to express yourself. More so tattoos, but the principle still stands. It’s a way to express yourself without going out of your way to affect others around you, it subtly tells something about who you are and what you love. I feel like they both get such a bad rap but I’m a firm believer of each person to their own so you want to write it on your skin then you do you.

30 Day Writing Challenge – Day 12

My first writing challenge and I’ve ruined it. I’ve been working the early shift at work and by the time I’m finished I’ve just been so tired and so emotionally done that all I’m doing when I get home is sleep. I managed to wash the car yesterday which is something, at least. So now I’m three days behind. I’ll catch up, I promise.

Day 12 – Your Best Friend
