Day 24 – A Book You’ve Wanted to Read for a Long Time But Haven’t
My TBR pile is the length of my arm. Longer. No, really it’s now just turned into a TBR bookcase. It’s getting ridiculous. I’ve actually set myself a resolution for this year of not buying books that I’m not going to read immediately. It’s been going somewhat successfully (kind of).
But one that I’ve wanted to read for a long time (about 3 years now) is actually the second book to a series. I loved the first book so much because it was something so unique for me.
A book that I’ve wanted to read for a long time but haven’t is Hollow City by Ransom Riggs, book two in Miss Peregrines Home for Peculiar Children series.

Day 14 – Celebrate Hardbacks
Let’s celebrate the beauty of hardbacks because we all love beautiful books.
I just picked a few of my favourite hardback books that I own because I own a lot, not all of them as nice. I also haven’t included Pans Labyrinth in this because I’ve mentioned a few times in other posts but just know that it’s up there with the beautiful hardbacks.

Day 3 – Favourite book to movie adaptation
I’m definitely one of those book people that believe the book is better than the film 99% of the time but on the rare occasion, there are adaptations that find a little space in my heart.
My all-time favourite book to movie adaptation has to be The Lord of the Rings Trilogy.
