Day 14 – What Tattoos You Have & If They Have Meaning
I think tattoos and piercings are a great way to express yourself. More so tattoos, but the principle still stands. It’s a way to express yourself without going out of your way to affect others around you, it subtly tells something about who you are and what you love. I feel like they both get such a bad rap but I’m a firm believer of each person to their own so you want to write it on your skin then you do you.

My first writing challenge and I’ve ruined it. I’ve been working the early shift at work and by the time I’m finished I’ve just been so tired and so emotionally done that all I’m doing when I get home is sleep. I managed to wash the car yesterday which is something, at least. So now I’m three days behind. I’ll catch up, I promise.

Day 11 – What You Wore Today
So today was a rare day off work that I didn’t have anything planned. I was thinking of doing so many things but in the end I decided to go and see my younger brother and his girlfriend who live up in Inverness. A big “what if?” for me revolves around my move from Glasgow to Aberdeen four years ago. I spent most of my life in the central belt of Scotland, I went to school there and its where most of my immediate family all stay. When I finished high school, due to a number of difficulties with life and my family, I made the conscious decision to move away for university. Continue reading “30 Day Writing Challenge – Day 9”
Day 8 – Five Items That You Lust After
Nice easy one for today but enjoyable to write nonetheless! Continue reading “30 Day Writing Challenge – Day 8”
Day 6 – Things you want to say to your ex
I’m not too excited about this one given where I am in life it seems like a rather unnecessary feat but a challenge is a challenge. I suppose anyone who knew a much younger me will know who this is aimed towards, but the effect will be the same for any reader. A lot of issues I now deal with in my adult life stem from the hell I put myself through when I was younger and this is actually something that was suggested to me by my counselor a while ago. I guess now I have the chance to do it. Let’s make it like a letter, because how else would you do this?
